The Best Philippines Tourist Spot Website listed ten famous old churches in the Philippines. I am reproducing their list and their pictures in this list.

 Paoay Church in Paoay, Ilocos Norte 

♣ Visited in 2000, Cheen and I are planning for another grand Ilocos get-away.

Barasoain Church in Malolos, Bulacan

♣ Will visit it soon, just waiting for my friends Brenda and Ate Adora to fix our schedule. 

San Agustin Church in Intramuros Manila

♣  My last visit was in 2010

San Sebastian Church in Plaza del Carmen, Quiapo district Manila

♣  My last visit was in 2010, I will be uploading my 2008 photo of the church in the next series of blog post.

Dauis Church in Panglao Island, Bohol

♣  Is on my list of “to see” if Zoe and I can fix our schedule, we’re targeting Bohol this year. Yes, I am keeping my fingers crossed.

Quiapo Church in Quezon Boulevard, Quiapo, Manila

San Jose Church in Basco, Batanes

Definitely on the “must see” list. Saleng and I are targeting an early 2013 visit, now, I need to work double time for the travel funds. haha! I will also share my friend Malou’s picture of Batanes’ churches on the next series of blog post.

Baguio Cathedral in Baguio City, Benguet Province

Basilica de Sto. Niño, in Cebu City

♣  Visited in 1998, unfortunately, I lost my “film” photo of this beautiful church, well, there will always be a next time for Cebu.

Our Lady of Manaoag Shrine in Manaoag, Pangasinan

♣ My last visit was in 2009, again, unfortunately, I lost the files of my 2005 picture of the church and its courtyard. I hope to visit it soon for a very personal reason 🙂
